Childcare Assistant

Daycare service is looking for a dynamic, responsible, and passionate childcare assistant to join our team.

Job Offer:

• Full-time 32 hours per week. $18 per hour
• Desired Profile:
• Minimum 1 year of experience with young children.
• Sense of responsibility, punctuality, and team spirit.
• Patience, kindness, and love for children.
• Completed first aid course.
• Up-to-date criminal record check
• Good adaptability.
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Excellent oral communication in French
• Job Requirements:
• Repetitive tasks

• Manual dexterity, personal qualities
• Tasks include:
• Supervising children at all times.
• Supporting the educator in organizing and animating activities.
• Assisting children with meals, hygiene, handwashing, and diaper changes.
• Setting up children for naps and supervising during rest periods.
• Maintaining facilities, toys, and equipment clean, disinfected, and well-organized.
• Promoting autonomy, respect, and good life habits in children.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure the smooth operation of the daycare service.
• Providing written observations on children to educators, guardians, or supervisors.
• Planning and maintaining an environment that protects the health, safety, and well-being of children.
• Observing children to detect learning difficulties or behavioral issues, and preparing reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
