Daycare service is looking for a dynamic, responsible, and passionate childcare assistant to join our team.
Job Offer:
- Childcare Assistant
- Day and evening shifts
- Flexible schedule
- Full-time 32 hours per week. $18 per hour
- Desired Profile:
- Minimum 1 year of experience with young children.
- Sense of responsibility, punctuality, and team spirit.
- Patience, kindness, and love for children.
- Completed first aid course.
- Up-to-date criminal record check
- Good adaptability.
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral communication in French
- Job Requirements:
- Repetitive tasks
- Physically demanding
- Attention to detail
- Sitting, standing, and walking
- Bending, kneeling, crouching
- Manual dexterity, personal qualities
- Tasks include:
- Supervising children at all times.
- Supporting the educator in organizing and animating activities.
- Assisting children with meals, hygiene, handwashing, and diaper changes.
- Setting up children for naps and supervising during rest periods.
- Maintaining facilities, toys, and equipment clean, disinfected, and well-organized.
- Promoting autonomy, respect, and good life habits in children.
- Collaborating with the team to ensure the smooth operation of the daycare service.
- Providing written observations on children to educators, guardians, or supervisors.
- Planning and maintaining an environment that protects the health, safety, and well-being of children.
- Observing children to detect learning difficulties or behavioral issues, and preparing reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
