We are looking for intervention agent(s) available for a temporary mandate of 2 to 3 months in Abitibi, within an Indigenous community.

Travel is done in a vehicle provided by the Quebec Commissioners. For each trip, a 4-hour overtime compensation is provided.

The mandate conditions are as follows:

• Accommodation and meals provided;
• Main schedule: one week out of two, from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM;
• Possibility of performing evening or night shifts as overtime, according to operational needs.

This mandate is an excellent opportunity for agents who wish to take on a new challenge while benefiting from favorable conditions.

YOUR MISSION…

• Ensure the protection of people, property, and places;
• Accompany the nursing staff during home visits;
• Capable of de-escalating crises with intoxicated individuals;
• Report accidents, complaints, fire risks, and potential dangers;
• Intervene (sometimes physically) during emergencies to restore order;
• Provide first aid to individuals requiring it within the establishment;
• Participate in investigations required by your function;
• Write incident reports or other required reports.

YOU HAVE

• Excellent observation and organization skills;
• Good stress management;
• The ability to interact with a diverse clientele (in French and English);
• The ability to intervene quickly when needed;
• A valid regular BSP license;
• A valid first aid certification (CNESST);
• A car;
• A valid driver's license;
• Valid unsung force training (an asset);
• Valid customer service training (an asset);
• 1 year of experience in security.
