Senior Refrigeration Mechanic

For its Buildings, Parks and Public Spaces Service, the City of Laval is looking for a:Senior Refrigeration Mechanic STATUS: Permanent JOB NUMBER: 4310 SALARY: Class 10 – from $38.63 to $48.31 HOURS: Alternate WORK LOCATION: Operational Management of Buildings, Parks and Public Spaces, 1489 Cunard Street Door 1, Ground Floor A/S OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT OF BUILDINGS, PARKS AND PUBLIC SPACES (2) LAVAL H7S 2H8 (see map below)

The challenges you will face

Perform various operational, installation, maintenance, repair and modification tasks on refrigeration, air conditioning, heating/ventilation systems, and primary and secondary refrigeration circuits.

The ideal profile for us

• Hold a refrigeration system certificate, class 1 (SF-1) issued by Emploi Québec, or hold a refrigeration technician qualification certificate issued by the CCQ;
• Have two (2) years of relevant experience in the position;
• Hold an environmental qualification certificate, category H1 - refrigeration equipment;
• Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license in accordance with the requirements of the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec;
• Have training in safety for construction sites (SST).
