Civil Engineer (Design)

TEHORA is currently looking for a Civil Engineer (Design) with excellent technical skills and knowledge who wishes to put their skills to work within a versatile team.

The following are some of the services and deliverables that the selected candidate will need to provide (non-exhaustive list):

Description of work or deliverables

• Determine client needs and estimate the costs of municipal infrastructure projects;
• Produce and interpret plans and estimates;
• Estimate project quantities and costs;
• Design water supply, sewer, and road networks;
• Design stormwater retention systems;
• Conduct client procedures and present plans and estimates to them;
• Prepare and present authorization requests for approval by the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (MELCC);
• Prepare and present intervention permit requests to the Ministry of Transportation of Quebec;
• Research relevant information related to the ongoing project;
• Occasionally write service offers;
• Ensure the follow-up, supervision, and compliance of construction work;
• Assist in client meetings;
• Budget tracking.
