YOUR DAILY WORK

Financial accounting, financial statements and management reports

• Produce and analyze monthly financial statements and management reports for the executive team.
• Perform monthly variance analyses and explain significant deviations from expected results.
• Contribute to the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.

Compliance, standards, audit and taxation

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and the overall financial processes.
• Take charge of the complete preparation and coordination of the end-of-year audit file with external auditors.
• Supervise and validate the compliance of various declarations (taxes and taxes).

Supervision, mentoring and optimization of the team

• Ensure functional supervision, mentoring and daily technical support for a team of 3 employees.
• Re-evaluate the allocation of routine accounting tasks to maximize department efficiency and eliminate bottlenecks.

Digital transformation and process automation

• Actively participate in the implementation, configuration and optimization projects of the ERP system and the team's computer tools.
• Map out financial and accounting processes to eliminate low-value-added manual tasks, automate them and strengthen controls.
• KEY PROFILE
• Bachelor's degree in accounting (CPA title strongly recommended or equivalent).
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in corporate general accounting, ideally gained in a multi-site structure or accounting firm.
• Experience in team management and skills development.
• Excellent knowledge of closing cycles, audits, accounting standards and tax requirements of a SME.
• Analytical mindset, great rigor and attention to detail, quality of financial information and compliance.
• Strong ease with the use and optimization of ERP systems (financial module) and advanced Excel skills. Knowledge of Power BI is an asset.
