Senior Systems Analyst

Reports to: Director of IT - Enterprise Applications

We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join our growing IT team and play a crucial role in the transition between business needs and technological solutions across our global operations.

As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will be a strategic partner to business stakeholders, translating operational and commercial requirements into scalable technological solutions. You will analyze, optimize, and support enterprise systems that facilitate core functions such as manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, logistics, and finance.

This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and stakeholder management skills. You will lead system improvement initiatives, support digital transformation projects, and contribute to ensuring that our enterprise applications maximize our global operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to understand processes, issues, and system requirements.
  • Gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements to improve systems and find new solutions.
  • Design and recommend scalable IT solutions aligned with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive system analyses for projects related to enterprise resource planning, manufacturing execution systems (MES), supply chain, manufacturing, and enterprise applications.
  • Facilitate communication between users, IT teams, and vendor partners, as well as external implementation partners.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, automation, and data quality.
  • Support integrations between enterprise platforms and third-party applications.
  • Analyze system issues, determine root causes, and coordinate the resolution of complex incidents.
  • Develop process maps, workflows, profitability analyses, and technical documentation.
  • Support testing activities, including test planning, coordination of user acceptance testing (UAT), defect tracking, and validation.
  • Ensure solutions comply with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the establishment of best practices in business analysis and system design.
  • Participate in global digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business systems, or a related field.
  • More than seven (7) years of experience in system analyst, enterprise systems analyst, or similar roles.
  • Experience in managing enterprise systems in an industrial environment.
  • Excellent understanding of business processes in the areas of production, supply chain, procurement, planning, or logistics.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning platforms such as SAP, Oracle ERP, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Experience in system integrations, API interfaces, data flows, and enterprise architecture concepts.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process mapping skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic global environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred Skills
  • Experience in managing consultants.
  • Experience with INFOR XA and AS400 considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of SQL, reporting tools, and data analysis.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project methodologies.
  • Microsoft Tools certifications, other certifications such as CBAP, PMP, ITIL, or any relevant enterprise resource planning certification.
  • Experience with LIMS.
