The incumbent must operate the mechanical lifts while following established procedures, verbal and written instructions provided, to ensure safe and quality transportation for customers and employees.
Main Responsibilities
- The incumbent will ensure the proper functioning of the reception area and check tickets by handling and validating them;
- Prepare and check the assigned mechanical lift to ensure effective and safe operation, considering weather conditions, and be responsible for the lift's operation;
- Remain vigilant at all times to meet the various needs of the mechanical lift;
- Keep the operator's post and surroundings clean and in good order;
- Communicate various issues to superiors while demonstrating initiative to resolve routine cases and emergencies;
- Assist patrollers (evacuation, etc.);
- Be able to park the gondolas and perform their daily maintenance (broom, etc.);
- Board and disembark bicycles when necessary;
- Complete all reports related to a lift's operation according to established standards;
- Perform any other task assigned and necessary for the proper functioning of the company.
Required Skills, Abilities, and Qualities
- Secondary V or equivalent;
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience;
- Mechanical knowledge;
- Basic spoken English;
- Successfully complete the mechanical lift operator training program;
- Meet the physical requirements related to the position;
- Good judgment;
- Ability to sustain attention;
- Courteous attitude and neat appearance;
- Punctuality, dynamism, and diligence.
- Schedule (informational only – may vary according to operational needs):
Full-time, day or evening shifts, possibly including weekends.
Hourly Rate – Salary Class 7 A B C $22.94 $25.15 $27.64
