We are seeking a Clinical Perfusionist to join our highly specialized cardiac surgery team at the Jewish General Hospital, within a full-time or part-time permanent position.

About the position

As a Clinical Perfusionist, you will ensure extracorporeal circulation and cardiopulmonary support for patients undergoing complex cardiac interventions and other specialized surgeries.

In collaboration with cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and a multidisciplinary team, you will participate in a wide range of specialized activities, including:

• Extracorporeal circulation (CEC)
• Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO)
• Ventricular assist devices (DAV/VAD)
• Blood conservation and autotransfusion
• Minimally invasive and robotic cardiac surgery
• Mechanical circulatory support therapies

This position also offers the opportunity to participate in teaching, mentoring, clinical research, and program development within a renowned university environment.
