An overview of your future role at BBA

You will report to the Director of Health, Safety and Environment, and support the efforts in health and safety at work to ensure compliance with BBA's prevention program across all its activities. You will primarily be responsible for the Ontario region.

  • Coordinate internal projects independently
  • Collaborate on ad-hoc projects with various stakeholders
  • Investigate complex incidents
  • Occasionally support client projects
  • Support environmental processes, including incident and risk management, and other related activities

Certifications and requirements for the position, in brief

  • Bachelor's degree, college diploma, or university certificate in OHS combined with recognized experience
  • Eight years of relevant experience in occupational health and safety
  • In-depth knowledge of management systems and best practices in health and safety
  • Availability to travel to clients' sites as needed, according to the organization's requirements
  • Ability to conduct health and safety audits in BBA's offices and at client sites where our employees work
  • High autonomy and continuous improvement approach
  • Good knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Asset: Good knowledge of environmental laws and regulations
