We are currently looking for an Osteopath for our St-Vallier Clinic. This clinic has a strong presence in the neighborhood, having been in operation for several years and attracting a clientele consisting of both local residents and professionals in the region.

This clinic offers a multidisciplinary approach, allowing for the response to varied and diverse needs. Additionally, its proximity to a neighboring medical clinic fosters interprofessional exchanges, creating an environment conducive to collaboration and continuous improvement of the services offered. This strategic location and synergy between professionals contribute to offering a complete and high-quality experience to patients and clients.

We Offer

Your Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's overall health status
• Identify the causes of pain by evaluating posture, tension areas, and lines of gravity
• Diagnose dysfunctions affecting mobility and well-being
• Develop a plan to restore mobility and functionality of the body's structures
• Plan and apply appropriate manual treatments
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust care
• Document sessions and progress in files
• Advise on posture, exercises, and prevention
• Collaborate or refer to other healthcare professionals

Required Skills

• Diploma in osteopathy (DO) obtained or in the process of being obtained, from a recognized institution (e.g., College of Osteopathic Studies - CEO, Quebec Osteopathic Center - COQ, or another school meeting the criteria of the World Health Organization - WHO).
• Member in good standing of a recognized professional association (e.g., Osteopathy Quebec, RITMA, or another association meeting the WHO criteria and allowing the issuance of receipts for patients)
• Proficiency in both French and English, both orally and in writing

Conditions

• Part-time: 10 to 22.5 hours per week
• Schedule: flexible schedule to be determined with the candidate
• Start date flexible according to the candidate's availability
• Salary: according to the existing salary scale between $30.71/h to $53.35/h
• Note that there is an hourly rate for initial appointments and another for follow-up treatment appointments.
