Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Finisseur de béton to join our construction team. This role involves the precise finishing and restoration of concrete surfaces, ensuring high-quality results on various projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, experience in concrete finishing, and a solid understanding of construction processes. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a range of tools and techniques to achieve professional standards in concrete work.

Duties

• Perform concrete finishing tasks including smoothing, leveling, and texturing surfaces to meet project specifications
• Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely and efficiently during concrete application and finishing processes
• Execute masonry, carpentry, and flooring installation tasks related to concrete projects
• Conduct restoration work on existing concrete surfaces, including caulking and repairs
• Use hand tools and power tools for detailed finishing work such as edging, troweling, and polishing
• Assist with welding, renovation activities, and other related construction tasks as required
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and project specifications through careful inspection and quality control

Qualifications

• Proven experience in concrete finishing, masonry, or related construction fields
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate heavy equipment safely
• Skilled in rebar installation, carpentry, welding, and flooring installation
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics for accurate project execution
• Experience with concrete forming, restoration, caulking, and the use of hand tools and power tools
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments
• Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and procedures
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Prior experience with renovation projects is a plus
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced construction setting

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
