This position is for a new electrical substation construction project in Montreal, Hochelaga sector.
Specifically, the Environmental Manager plays a strategic role in the project's success by ensuring compliance with environmental requirements and integrating sustainable development principles.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE COMPANY'S SUCCESS
- Ensure all environmental requirements are met;
- Conduct regular inspections and document them;
- The Environmental Manager will also act as the Envision Manager;
- Supervise waste management and hazardous materials on-site;
- Conduct internal audits and regular environmental reporting;
YOUR SKILLS AND TALENTS THAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED
- Hold a degree in environmental studies or a related field;
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the environmental field, preferably in construction projects;
- Be familiar with the nature of work performed on-site;
- Asset: Envision certification (ENV SP) but not required;
- Asset: Knowledge of Hydro-Québec requirements and experience working on other Electrical Substation projects;
- Mastery of environmental regulations applicable to Hydro-Québec projects;
- Experience in best practices and soil erosion management;
- Sense of organization, autonomy, diligence, and ability to work in a team;
Strong communication and project management skills.
