Reporting to the SSA Manager, the Operations Coordinator ensures the planning, coordination, and follow-up of maintenance activities, regulatory inspections, and operational interventions for buildings subject to Shared Services (SSA).

As a resource person, they ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, coordinate with vendors and interventions, monitor property assets, and contribute to providing quality service to the served condominiums. This person works closely with the SSA administrative team to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and the longevity of the infrastructure.

What You Will Accomplish

  • Plan and coordinate preventive inspections of all equipment under Shared Services (SSA).
  • Organize regulatory inspections and ensure follow-up on necessary corrective actions.
  • Manage preventive maintenance schedules and vendor intervention times.
  • Coordinate operational communications with the properties served by SSA.
  • Participate in on-call service according to a set schedule to ensure availability during operational emergencies (fire alarms, water damage, equipment breakdowns, etc.).
  • Perform preliminary on-site problem diagnostics, recommend corrective actions, and coordinate emergency interventions.
  • Supervise corrective maintenance work and monitor critical repairs.
  • Coordinate inspections and maintenance of fire protection, detection, surveillance systems, and safety equipment.
  • Ensure the maintenance of building structure and envelope, including control joints, drains, sumps, and hydrocarbon separators.
  • Supervise the maintenance of mechanical, plumbing, ventilation, heating systems, boilers, and backflow prevention devices (DAR).
  • Coordinate inspections of water, gas meters, and maintenance of electrical systems, emergency lighting, and other essential equipment.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with specialized vendors, condominium board members, and SSA partners.
  • Manage the complete cycle of work orders, purchase orders, intervention tracking, and invoice processing.
  • Monitor maintenance contracts, warranties, regulatory inspections, and keep the asset database up-to-date.
  • Coordinate resources during major interventions and contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes.
