We are looking for a day shift production supervisor for a key position within an established manufacturing organization. The company operates in an industrial environment and relies on innovation, operational rigor, and collaboration to ensure long-term growth.
As a production supervisor, your main responsibility will be the effective management of one or more departments to achieve the required operational objectives while prioritizing workplace health and safety.
Your Responsibilities
- Serve as a resource person within your team;
- Promote and ensure the health and safety of employees and operations;
- Maintain healthy work relationships;
- Ensure the achievement of operational objectives (on-time delivery, quality of manufactured products, productivity rates, etc.);
- Develop team members and your department by considering the continuous improvement model in place, which is inspired by the Toyota model;
- Conduct or facilitate problem-solving workshops (PSW);
- Lead daily employee meetings and participate in other continuous improvement meetings;
- Respond to and analyze Andons (help requests) and employee suggestions;
- Conduct the annual employee contribution to work meeting on the scheduled date;
- Approve, improve, or maintain work methods;
- Collaborate with various departments.

- Job Requirements
Requirements
- DEC or BAC in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any other relevant field;
- 5 years of experience in the manufacturing sector;
- Proficiency in MS Office suite;
- Ability to work in a computerized environment;
- Functional English both orally and in writing (10% of the time for communication with immigrant workforce);
- Knowledge and experience in a Lean environment;
- Open-mindedness;
- Leadership in mobilization;
- Ability to communicate and maintain good interpersonal relationships;
- Rigor and sense of organization;
- Self-motivated;
- Sense of urgency.
