Day Shift Production Supervisor

We are looking for a day shift production supervisor for a key position within an established manufacturing organization. The company operates in an industrial environment and relies on innovation, operational rigor, and collaboration to ensure long-term growth.

As a production supervisor, your main responsibility will be the effective management of one or more departments to achieve the required operational objectives while prioritizing workplace health and safety.

Your Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource person within your team;
• Promote and ensure the health and safety of employees and operations;
• Maintain healthy work relationships;
• Ensure the achievement of operational objectives (on-time delivery, quality of manufactured products, productivity rates, etc.);
• Develop team members and your department by considering the continuous improvement model in place, which is inspired by the Toyota model;
• Conduct or facilitate problem-solving workshops (PSW);
• Lead daily employee meetings and participate in other continuous improvement meetings;
• Respond to and analyze Andons (help requests) and employee suggestions;
• Conduct the annual employee contribution to work meeting on the scheduled date;
• Approve, improve, or maintain work methods;
• Collaborate with various departments.

• Job Requirements

Requirements

• DEC or BAC in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any other relevant field;
• 5 years of experience in the manufacturing sector;
• Proficiency in MS Office suite;
• Ability to work in a computerized environment;
• Functional English both orally and in writing (10% of the time for communication with immigrant workforce);
• Knowledge and experience in a Lean environment;
• Open-mindedness;
• Leadership in mobilization;
• Ability to communicate and maintain good interpersonal relationships;
• Rigor and sense of organization;
• Self-motivated;
• Sense of urgency.
