As an Assistant Branch Manager, you motivate and lead a high-performing team of advisors in a dynamic, rewarding, and high-volume market, while establishing and achieving the team's sales goals.   • Collaborate with your supervisor to ensure the operational efficiency of the branch and optimize team performance
  • Advocate and encourage excellence in retail sales, setting an example to provide a memorable customer experience
  • Provide support to team members on advisory services, information provision to clients, and problem resolution and prevention at the first point of contact; promote digital optimization and the use of all service modes
  • Leverage partners to establish internal and external professional relationships to contribute to achieving business objectives
  • Meet community needs through relevant recruitment methods and management practices
  • What do you need to succeed?

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in a relationship management role in the financial sector (e.g., banking advisor, financial advisor)
  • Strong track record in business growth, client and community relationship building
  • At least two years of experience as a registered representative for mutual fund sales in the last three years
  • Mutual Fund Sales License (successful completion of the Investment Funds in Canada course or the Canadian Securities Course)
  • Acceptable score on the Branch Manager Course (BMC) exam, a program offered by the ICVM and intended for mutual fund dealers, or the ability to pass this exam within four months of the start date
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will serve a bilingual client base

  • Experience in banking services for individuals and businesses
  • Strong understanding of sales management activities and ability to lead a team in action
  • Post-secondary diploma, ideally in business or business administration, or equivalent experience
  • Business sense and ability to find and exploit new business opportunities
