Your goal: 👉 Produce and optimize precise and efficient 3D drawings while ensuring the programming of folding and the continuous improvement of processes. You become a strategic link between drafting, production, and the client, making each project simpler, faster, and smarter.

Drafting and Programming

• Create and develop technical drawings of complex parts and assemblies from customer or internal plans
• Program folding, considering efficiency and field reality
• Validate quality, precision, and compliance before production

Technical Support and Collaboration

• Act as a technical reference for account managers, production, and clients to ensure project feasibility
• Analyze needs and constraints and propose new or alternative solutions
• Collaborate closely with teams to ensure clear and effective understanding

Optimization and Innovation

• Identify opportunities for improvement in drafting and programming methods
• Propose innovative technical solutions to optimize production, reduce costs, and minimize waste
• Actively participate in the intelligent standardization of drawings and programs
• Actively contribute to the evolution of department tools, templates, and practices

You will start with existing drawings to optimize them, solve technical challenges, and propose solutions that facilitate manufacturing and improve performance.

✅ What we are looking for

• Education in mechanical engineering, industrial drafting, or a related field involving mechanical design
• 3 years of experience as an industrial drafter, technical drafter, mechanical drafter, or other relevant experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Functional English (an asset)
• Ability to read manufacturing drawings
• Proficiency in drafting software (Solid Edge: an asset)
• Experience in sheet metal (an asset)

💲Salary

• $31.72 to $35.20 per hour, depending on experience
