Your Role

Based at our headquarters, you will play a central role in our operations. You will be the first point of contact for several families and partners, while ensuring efficient coordination with our field teams.

Your Main Responsibilities

Answer incoming calls with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency;

Receive death calls and gather essential information;

Quickly transmit information to funeral directors to ensure effective handling;

Route calls to the relevant interveners or departments;

Provide information about ongoing funeral services;

Coordinate transportation and assign funeral directors, drivers, and bearers as needed;

Update death notices on the website;

Perform various administrative and clerical tasks;

Collaborate with different teams to ensure operational fluidity;

Perform any other related tasks.

Desired Profile

This position is particularly suited for individuals with experience in the following areas: Call centers;

Customer service;

Emergency call centers (911, ambulance dispatch, fire, police, or other emergency services);

Dispatching or operational coordination;

Telemonitoring;

Roadside assistance;

Transport and logistics;

Administrative support.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (DES);
  • Bilingualism essential (French and English);
  • Good knowledge of the geography of Greater Montreal and the metropolitan area;
  • Excellent computer skills;

Experience in call centers, dispatching, coordination, or an environment requiring the management of multiple calls simultaneously (important asset);

Knowledge of the funeral industry (asset).

Working Conditions

Permanent full-time position; 40-hour workweek;

Hourly rate of $27.77 according to the collective agreement;

Comprehensive training and support upon arrival.
