• Be willing to work on a variable schedule; days, evenings, and one weekend every two weeks.
• Possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and be skilled in customer service.
• Possess excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Having one to two years of experience as a supervisor or team leader is an asset.
• Be able to lift a load weighing up to 23 kg (50 lb), alone or with the help of a colleague.
• Job responsibilities
• Lead associates and encourage them to build relationships with customers and colleagues to provide exceptional customer service and generate gross sales while having excellent knowledge of merchandising and products.
• Ensure an adequate staffing level within the department or service to meet the company's needs.
• Manage associate performance by offering opportunities for development, communicating responsibilities and goals, recognizing and rewarding efforts, and providing continuous feedback.
• Review numerous reports, including sales reports, and collaborate with the assistant store director to develop recommendations for improving stock, upper shelf organization, and related product merchandising to drive sales.
• Ensure stock availability at all times and compliance with upper shelf organization plans.
