Your Future Role Within Our Team
As a member of our Mechanical team, you will be called upon to lead medium-sized multidisciplinary projects within the framework of studies and detailed engineering assignments in the mining and metals, heavy industry, and energy sectors.
Your role as a Project Director will involve coordinating with various stakeholders to enable multidisciplinary engineering for diverse industrial applications. You will work with a dynamic team and be called upon to apply your technical knowledge as well as project management skills.
You will also be called upon to play an active role in identifying business opportunities with our clients and participating in the preparation of winning service proposals. You will need to contribute to the development of the firm's business by maintaining relationships with internal and external clients.

- Lead the execution of work within the framework of studies and detailed engineering assignments related to multidisciplinary industrial projects
- Define budgets and schedules and ensure staffing
- Communicate project objectives to your team
- Be responsible for the quality of deliverables, costs, schedules, as well as health and safety
- Monitor performance indicators and communicate monthly results to clients
- Provide mentorship to Project Managers to achieve objectives
- Manage client expectations and ensure their satisfaction
- Present change notices to clients and define additional assignments with them

Certifications and Requirements for the Position, in Brief
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec
- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in the field
- Experience in leading mechanical projects in the industrial sector
- Availability for short-term travel outside the office
- Relevant experience in project management and technical report writing
- Advanced English level to facilitate good collaboration with BBA offices and/or clients located in the Canadian provinces and internationally (the frequency of English usage may vary from occasional to daily depending on ongoing projects)
- Advanced French level to facilitate good collaboration with BBA offices and/or clients located in Quebec
