Vet and Us - Customer Service Representative

Vet and Us is a multidisciplinary team of specialists and high-level general practitioners. Our mission is to care for our clients' animals as if they were our own. Our teams are spread across three 24/7 emergency and referral centers and several general practice hospitals in the regions of Montreal, Laval, Montérégie, Laurentides, Lanaudière, Mauricie and Capitale-Nationale. Our facilities offer complete services for dog, cat, bird, and exotic animal owners.

You are the first person our clients contact. Your compassion and calm will be crucial in gaining their trust and reassuring them! You will act as a bridge between clients and our medical team. You are responsible for transmitting client communications and directing them to the appropriate professional.

This is a permanent position, either full-time. The schedule is day, evening, and weekend shifts, depending on the operational needs of the establishment.

Main responsibilities

• Creating and updating client files and administrative information;
• Managing the phone (providing information to clients, scheduling and confirming appointments, etc.);
• Handling billing and cashier duties;
• Tracking, sending, and managing emails;
• Welcoming, informing, and directing customers;
• Ensuring good communication between clients and the medical team;
• Managing orders and returns (pet food restocking);
• Participating in meetings or training sessions to acquire knowledge that can be useful in answering customer questions;
• Maintaining good communication with your team;
• Performing various office tasks.

What you need

• Experience in customer service is an asset;
• Good communication skills;
• Proficiency in oral and written French;
• Autonomy and versatility;
