What You'll Do
- You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the branch, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- You will lead, train, and supervise the internal sales teams, sales counter operations, and warehouse operations such as shipping, receiving, inventory management, and other handling activities.
- Manage all branch operations to ensure that superior service levels are met every day.
- Cultivate and manage key business relationships.
- Identify new product/business opportunities based on customer needs.
- Plan and organize the branch to achieve sales, operating profit, and company objectives.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with suppliers.
- Manage weekly work schedules and labor costs for associates.
What You'll Bring
- 3 to 5 years of experience in team and staff management
- Knowledge of industry products (plumbing and HVAC/R) required
- Demonstrated ability to lead and build a high-performing team
- Demonstrated ability to meet goals in a highly competitive market
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
