Auxiliary Nurse
Triage, Laboratory Services and STD Screening
Full-time | One of our Clinics in Greater Montreal SM PRIVATE is a private medical clinic where medicine meets hospitality. We offer discreet, efficient, and high-quality care, with a constant commitment to patient experience, professionalism, and clinical excellence.
We are currently looking for a full-time auxiliary nurse to join our team at one of our Greater Montreal clinics. The selected candidate will need to be available to work at all of our clinics (Ville Mont-Royal, Laval, Downtown Montreal, and West Island) as needed.
Weekday day shifts and weekend shifts may be required.
This position is suitable for an organized individual with solid clinical experience, capable of providing exceptional service in a private clinic environment.
Main Responsibilities
Triage and Clinical Support
- Perform patient triage and clinical evaluations
- Take vital signs and collect necessary clinical information for the physician
- Demonstrate excellent clinical judgment and prioritization skills
- Perform blood draws and ECGs
- Assist physicians with minor medical procedures
- Ensure complete, accurate, and organized clinical documentation
- Manage medical equipment and supply inventory
- Prepare, stock, and maintain examination rooms to the highest quality standards
STD Screening and Sexual Health Consultations
- Participate in STD screening consultations and patient education
- Provide clear, professional, and confidential sexual health information
- Create a respectful, safe, and non-judgmental environment
- Demonstrate empathy, discretion, and professionalism at all times
Required Qualifications
- Auxiliary nurse
- In good standing with the OIIAQ
- Valid RCR certification
- Full bilingualism in French and English is mandatory (non-negotiable)
- Applications not meeting this requirement will not be considered
Desired Experience
- Demonstrated experience in clinical triage
- Demonstrated experience in blood draws
- Experience working with various private laboratories
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong clinical judgment and autonomy
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Reliable, professional, and trustworthy individual
- Availability to work at all four Greater Montreal clinics as needed
- Presentation and Communication

Schedule
- Full-time
- Weekday day shifts
- Possible weekend day shifts
- Variable schedule based on operational needs across all Greater Montreal clinics
- Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
