• Construct clay models and molds used for concrete product casting

Prepare, adjust, and operate single-function machines used to mix, drill, grind, or cut concrete according to specifications

Construct and repair wooden forms used for concrete product casting

Perform machine adjustments as needed

Position wire mesh and reinforcing bars in molds

• Prepare and mix engobe
• Pour concrete into molds
• Fill molds with engobe to form pottery or porcelain items
• Read and interpret plans, diagrams, and drawings
• Finish stone products with spray paint and attach concrete plaques or bases
• Remove castings
• Finish casting surfaces using a rasp or trowel
