The Opportunity

Increase revenue from key industry portfolios and acquire new major accounts ($60k to $500k). Lead sales strategy and planning, including target customer accounts, prospecting, lead follow-up, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts by proactively identifying opportunities and presenting innovative solutions.

The Role

  • Continuously seek out new clients; make sales calls, including cold calling and follow-up on leads and referrals to present product solutions and increase sales in the assigned territory.
  • Determine and strengthen relationships with decision-makers of existing accounts by developing a continuous relationship strategy, nurturing partnerships, and establishing Wajax as a reputable advisor.
  • Review and comment on target customer opportunities while ensuring alignment with the overall account strategy.
  • Make forecasts, deliveries, and adjustments to accounts to ensure success under contractual terms.
  • Collaborate with product experts to identify expansion and cross-sell opportunities in existing accounts and capitalize on them.
  • Track purchase orders, quotes, and requested services with clients; undertake activities to ensure sales such as competitor information gathering and product analysis, as well as pricing application and determination to address customer objections.
  • Develop proposals and quotes based on customer needs, specifications, and offered products.
  • Fully comply with the IMPACT sales process and installed CRM tools (Salesforce).

The Candidate

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or college diploma
  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 4 years of confirmed experience where the candidate has met or exceeded sales and account management goals
  • Knowledge: Experience in the industry at a management level and knowledge of industry sectors would be an asset
  • Skills: Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
