The Adventure Awaits You

As a Training Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in our company by designing and implementing innovative and engaging training programs. You will collaborate with all departments of the mine to ensure the training of operational personnel. You will ensure the achievement of health and safety at work, performance, environmental, and organizational development goals.

You will be supervised by Mining Operations Superintendents, who will guide and support you in your role.

Your Impact

• Be the guardian of the effective allocation of resources to various training programs;
• Coordinate the activities of a team of experienced trainers;
• Ensure the maintenance of the knowledge and skills of the training team;
• Ensure the updating of all documentation associated with theoretical training;
• Lead the start of the training team's work shifts;
• Participate in monthly health and safety at work meetings as a reference in training;
• Establish and maintain a performance indicator and feedback program;
• Develop innovative solutions to improve the tracking of periodic training upgrades and feedback;
• Maintain the progression line of unionized employees within the various positions of the mine;
• In collaboration with supervisors, ensure the implementation of the workforce development plan;
• Develop training planning tools;
• Develop and implement training and follow-up schedules;
• Implement training procedures and follow-ups with Talent LMS;
• Participate in field audits;
• In collaboration with other site departments, actively participate in the development of new technologies or approaches in training;
• Act as the guardian of the simulator, ensuring the proper functioning of the device, usage schedule, updates, etc.;
• Any other related tasks.

What You Need to Excel

• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a training manager, continuous improvement, or any other relevant field;
• Demonstrated experience in creating training content or procedures will be highly valued;
• Proficiency in French, both oral and written;
• Experience in operating construction equipment (asset);
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
