Job Location: Anywhere in Quebec

As a Senior Site Supervisor in the Water Treatment team:

In this context, we want to expand our team in the Water domain, working on environmental infrastructure by adding a senior supervisor who can work on various mandates for the construction of wastewater treatment stations, drinking water stations, biogas plants, biofuel plants, or waste management and treatment infrastructure. This resource will be based at one of our major projects or intervene and coordinate our minor projects in supervision without residence, providing technical assistance during the supervision. The person sought will be part of a multidisciplinary team of professionals working in the municipal, industrial, and mining sectors across Quebec. This person can be based at one of our offices in southern Quebec or the Greater Montreal area.

Your Responsibilities

• Ensure full-time site supervision and manage the construction of important multidisciplinary projects in the water treatment domain (e.g., projects for compliance, renovations, or expansions of wastewater treatment plants, drinking water filtration stations, sewer pumping stations, pressure pumping stations, etc.);
• Monitor each step of the work to ensure the quality of execution with the contractor;
• Read and interpret plans and estimates, compare them to the work, and report on any discrepancies found;
• Communicate with engineers in environmental infrastructure projects to provide the required information for writing change directives;
• Validate the conformity of plans and estimates to guidelines, code requirements, and other regulations;
• Chair site meetings and issue minutes;
• Analyze the contractor's monthly progress reports and formulate a payment recommendation;
• Coordinate the verification of workshop drawings with designers;
• Distribute change directives and analyze the contractor's monetary proposals.

Qualifications

• Your Profile
• Diploma of College Studies (DEC) or College Studies Attestation (AEC) in Civil or Mechanical Engineering;
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar position;
• Relevant experience in this type of environmental or industrial infrastructure;
• Skills in report writing and multidisciplinary teamwork;
• Proficiency in Autocad and REVIT software (an asset) as well as ACC collaborative tools;
• Hold a valid driver's license and have access to a car;
• Be ready to be on-site for projects in southern Quebec or the Greater Montreal area.
