- Perform work orders provided by various plant services or during preventive maintenance work, while working safely in hot environments and confined spaces;
- Collaborate on the repair and maintenance of existing structures or the construction of new structures;
- Perform specialized welding tasks related to the plant, such as steel and stainless steel;
- Proactively participate in the plant's preventive maintenance program, detecting and resolving issues;
- Perform other tasks related to the management, operation, and maintenance of the service as requested by the service administrator or team supervisor;
- Provide technical support to the mixing and formulation department.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Industrial Mechanics of Construction and Maintenance or equivalent;
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance;
- Welding experience preferred, including electric arc and gas welding techniques, and oxy-fuel cutting;
- Mastery of reading and interpreting appropriate drawings and plans;
- Possess a toolbox and necessary tools to perform the job;
- Initiative, sense of responsibility, good judgment, and autonomy;
- Good physical condition to perform all required tasks and to move and manipulate heavy objects;
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to the job, including the competency card for working on construction sites, and knowledge of general plant regulations;
- Pass a practical test including welding before starting the job.
