Steel Structure Welder

Your Daily Role

• Read and interpret welding symbols
• Perform welding on structural steel pieces (mainly semi-automatic, flat position)
• Prepare pieces for welding using tools such as angle grinders
• Visually inspect the quality of welds
• Maintain order, safety, and cleanliness of the work environment

What We're Looking For

• DEP in welding or equivalent experience
• Experience in steel welding (ideally in structures)
• Ability to read plans (an asset)
• 2 to 5 years of experience in welding/steel structures (a major asset)
• Proficiency with electrical and manual tools
• Attention to detail, thoroughness, and concern for quality
• Valid CWB certification (essential or to be obtained within the first few months)
