Construction Estimator (Minimum 3 Years of Experience)

Do you have an eye for numbers, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for construction? We are looking for a construction estimator who is motivated and wants to play a key role in planning and the success of exciting projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyze plans, estimates, and tender documents
• Assess quantities, material costs, labor, equipment, and subcontracting
• Prepare detailed and competitive estimates
• Participate in the preparation and submission of bids
• Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain prices
• Identify risks, technical constraints, and optimization opportunities
• Collaborate with project managers
• Update cost databases and estimation tools
• Ensure compliance with schedules and contractual requirements

Requirements

• Diploma in estimation, civil engineering, architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• (3-5 years) Relevant experience in the construction industry
• Good knowledge of construction methods and materials
• Ability to read and interpret plans and estimates
• Proficiency in computer tools (Excel, Quoter plan – an asset)
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
• Good team spirit and communication skills
