Housekeeping Attendant

Status: Full-time permanent – Unionized position

Immediate Supervisor: Manager of Maintenance and Buildings

Under the authority of the Manager of Maintenance and Buildings, the person holding this position is responsible for the general and preventive maintenance of both interior and exterior areas. They plan, organize, and carry out the work according to the specified directives and frequencies. They maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and communicate this information to their immediate supervisor.

• Ensures the proper functioning of tools;
• Performs exterior building maintenance;
• Carries out minor repairs;
• Reports any apparent construction defects to their supervisor;
• Manages snow removal of all entrances and staircases;
• Performs housekeeping maintenance at Centre l’Entre-Toit;
• Upon a resident's departure and/or as needed, performs a complete cleaning of the room;
• Interacts with the clientele according to resource rules and the information provided, while acting in harmony with the team;
• Shares observations about the clientele with the clinical assistant and/or immediate supervisor and the team;
• Performs any other tasks related to their work.
• Related Work Experience:
• 6 months and more
• Languages Required:
• Excellent oral communication in French
• Hours per Week:
• 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, daytime
• Offered Salary:
• Starting at $20.32/hour
