Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing cost estimates for various industrial construction projects. Additionally, they will be required to visit job sites as part of project execution.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and estimate costs for construction projects
- Analyze tender documents related to various projects
- Calculate quantities and costs for equipment and labor for project execution
- Collaborate on submission preparation processes
- Forecast project expenses and seek subcontractors
- Monitor project progress
- Other related tasks.
Requirements
- Relevant education in the construction field
- Approximately 5 years of experience in mechanical estimation, piping, industrial construction
- Experience with a general contractor (a major asset)
- Strong proficiency in estimation software, particularly AutoCAD
- Strong reading and interpretation skills for plans and bids
- Valid ASP construction card
- Bilingual (French, English) an asset
