Hours: Part-time evening hours and one weekend per week

Salary: $30 to $42/hour, plus a $2/hour evening premium

Your role in our laboratory

As a medical technologist, you will play a crucial role in the processing and analysis of samples, while contributing to operational efficiency and the quality of results transmitted to patients and healthcare professionals.

Main responsibilities

• Ensure the reception of samples at the laboratory;
• Perform the creation of computer requests;
• Carry out certain laboratory analyses (FSC, PT, PTT, PCR, SEDI, etc.);
• Proceed with the seeding of microbiology samples;
• Perform manual antibiograms;
• Verify data entry in Unity Real Time;
• Digitize laboratory requests.
• Desired profile

Requirements

• Hold a DEC in Biomedical Analysis Technology from a recognized school by the Ministry of Education, Leisure and Sport.
• Be a member of the Professional Order of Medical Technologists of Quebec, an asset.
• Experience in microbiology, an asset.
