Civil Engineer

We are looking for :

In the context of our growth, we are seeking a civil engineer member in good standing with the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ) to support our operations and ensure the review and signing of technical plans and documents related to our activities.

Tasks

• Read, analyze, and design traffic signal plans
• Provide solutions to various design problems in traffic signal maintenance plans
• Participate in planning meetings with different stakeholders at the construction site
• Perform calculations and track quantities and resource estimates for traffic signals, concrete barriers, pavement markings, etc.
• Place orders for materials needed for the work
• Manage and assist the construction site personnel in mobility
• Understand and apply Quebec traffic signal standards and contractual obligations
• Participate in phase-in work, day and night as needed.

Requirements

• Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (mandatory)
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent (MIFI comparative evaluation)
• Relevant experience in construction coordination.
