Food Processing Laborer (4 days/week)

Gaspor is a family-owned company that operates in piglet farming and the retail sale of piglet products. Our farm is located in Prévost in the Laurentians region, and our processing plant is situated in Saint-Jérôme. Our primary goal is to offer an exceptional taste experience by providing a unique, high-quality product. We are looking for a person who values their work and is able to fill a combined position as a food processing laborer.

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time, between 36 to 40 hours per week.

Salary: Starting at $17.83 per hour (negotiable based on experience).

Schedule: 4 days per week, Monday to Thursday, between 6 am and 4:30 pm, with the exception of one Wednesday every two weeks.

• Good physical fitness, able to lift weights up to (~23 kg/ 50 lbs),
• Manual work requiring dexterity, cutting, weighing, sorting, mixing, and cooking food. Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas. Handling and packaging raw materials and finished products.
• Attention to detail, observing, analyzing, and recognizing the expected level of compliance.
• Work indoors (factory), refrigerated to tempered environment
• Primarily standing work
• Wearing sanitary equipment (e.g., apron, hairnet, gloves, boots)
• Experience in cooking or food processing (an asset)
• Basic computer knowledge (an asset)
