IT Network Technician Job Description

Services Conseils ABna is seeking an IT Network Technician to support its clients in the installation, administration, monitoring, and optimization of their technological infrastructures.

The selected candidate will participate in the management of networks, servers, IT equipment, and security systems. They will also assist users to ensure the proper functioning of technological environments and the continuity of operations.

Work Conditions

• Full-time permanent position
• Work primarily on-site at clients' locations or in the company's offices
• Occasional travel to clients' locations
• Daytime schedule

Requirements

• College diploma (DEC), AEC, or certificate in a field related to networks, IT, or information technology.
• A combination of equivalent education and experience may be considered.

Experience

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in IT support or network administration.
• Experience in the installation and configuration of IT equipment.
• Experience in user support and incident resolution.

• Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)
• Microsoft Windows environments
• Active Directory

• Main Responsibilities
• Maintain, administer, and optimize network infrastructures.
• Install, configure, and update IT equipment, software, and operating systems.
• Provide technical support to users and handle incidents.
• Participate in the implementation and improvement of IT security measures.
• Perform data backup and restoration operations.
• Conduct routine system startups, shutdowns, and checks.
• Participate in the setup of local networks and Internet connections.
• Install and configure network monitoring, security, and traffic control software.
• Keep technical documentation and operation logs up to date.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of clients' technological infrastructures.
