Facility Maintenance and Sports Platform Preparation Attendant

Annually welcoming approximately 1.8 million visitors, the Promutuel Assurance Sports Complex is an indispensable sports and leisure destination in Trois-Rivières, distinguished by its modern and high-quality facilities, diverse service offerings, and the organization of major events.

Under the supervision of the Operations Coordinator, the incumbent of this position is responsible for preparing sports facilities and platforms at the required times and in accordance with the needs and requirements of clients. They also perform rigorous and regular cleaning to meet the highest standards of cleanliness, ensuring that our facilities remain impeccable and welcoming.

Job Duties

• Perform facility maintenance (locker rooms, restrooms, common areas, offices, bleachers, daycare, etc.);
• Ensure the availability of sanitary products (paper, soap, etc.);
• Restock food service counters;
• Prepare sports platforms or rooms by installing and moving necessary equipment and materials according to the activity schedule and location specifications;
• Participate in the installation and dismantling of certain equipment during events;
• Zamboni Operation (Optional): Drive the Zamboni carefully to shave, clean, and apply a new layer of water to achieve a smooth ice surface;
• Report on breaks, defects, or situations requiring intervention;
• Monitor users and facilities, ensure compliance with regulations, perform building opening/closing, and manage access.

Requirements

• Be reliable and punctual;
• Sense of responsibility and attention to detail;
• Autonomy and good management of priorities;
• Ability to work alone and in a team;
• Good physical condition (active work).

Employment Conditions

• Full-time: 40 hours/week
• Evening shift – 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM
• Week – Sunday to Thursday
• Salary: Starting at $19.10 per hour
• RVER with employer participation after 1 year of service;
• Free access to the training room;
• Free group course per session.
