Warehouse Clerk (Shipping / Receiving)

Under the supervision of the manager, the incumbent will be responsible for:

• Receiving, inspecting, controlling, and storing merchandise; (unloading pallets from the truck)
• Preparing and shipping orders; (palette: wrap with stretch film)
• Ensuring the accuracy of the material and equipment shipped or received according to the delivery/receiving slips;
• Organizing and storing products in the warehouse in an orderly and secure manner.
• Maintaining an accurate inventory of stocks (monthly and annual inventory).
• Cleaning and maintaining equipment as needed; cleaning machines and adapters as needed;
• Operating a forklift to move pallets in the warehouse;
• Following safety regulations when using equipment;
• General maintenance (emptying trash, minor repairs, etc.)
• Ensuring a clean and safe work environment;

Requirements

• Mandatory experience with a forklift (license);
• Ability to lift boxes weighing between 15 and 45 pounds;
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar position;
• Driver's license (possibility of making deliveries in the area)
• Employment Type: Part-Time
• Compensation: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
