Under the responsibility of the Chief - IT Services, the Network Systems Analyst is responsible for managing, maintaining, evolving, and supporting the network infrastructure that connects and secures all of the organization's computing environments. They act as a specialist in LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, perimeter security, and network management and monitoring tools.

Main Responsibilities

  • Participate in technological evolution projects;
  • Establish service reports (KPIs) and recommendations/actions;
  • Act as a reference for all questions related to the service scope (processes, technology, etc.);
  • Troubleshoot, resolve service issues, diagnose accurately, and report problems to vendors;
  • Perform tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality service;
  • Respond to user requests and service requests;
  • Work with stakeholders to understand how processes are implemented and make changes based on identified risks or workflow issues;
  • Plan, design, and deploy network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN);
  • Select and configure network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls);
  • Continuously monitor the network's status and analyze performance;
  • Optimize network configuration to improve availability, speed, and reliability;
  • Diagnose network failures and apply corrective measures;
  • Manage operational incidents and document causes and solutions;
  • Install, test, and maintain network equipment and software;
  • Establish and apply computer security procedures;
  • Conduct security tests, verify compliance, and protect data transiting on the network;
  • Write and maintain up-to-date network documentation: diagrams, configurations, procedures;
  • Write technical reports and analyses for management;
  • Plan and execute network backups;
  • Perform routine startups, shutdowns, and operations;
  • Integrate new applications and services into the infrastructure;
  • Conduct performance and load tests;
  • Plan the evolution of network infrastructure according to IT needs;
  • Assist users and provide network support;
  • Collaborate with IT teams (systems, security, infrastructure);
  • Manage telephony, mobile communication, and data transmission services;
  • Participate in the operation and evolution of telecommunication networks (RENIR, RITM).

Normal Job Requirements

Education and Certification

  • DEC or bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field.

Experience

  • 3 to 7 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Cisco CCNA / CCNP;
  • CompTIA Network+;
  • Certified Network Computer Technician (CNCT);
  • Cloud certifications (hybrid networks & SD-WAN);
  • Linux – LPIC-1 / LPIC-2 (Linux Professional Institute);
  • Microsoft certifications (an asset):
  • + Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate;
  • + Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals;
  • + Azure Fundamentals;

+ ITIL Foundation.

Skills and Abilities

  • Priority management in a critical environment;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft SCCM, GPO, IIS, AD, or other remote tools;
  • Ability to establish priorities to efficiently handle multiple problems simultaneously;
  • Ability to anticipate difficult situations and, proactively, establish appropriate action plans;
  • Ability to work under pressure and be comfortable in emergency mode;
  • Mastery of networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewall, routing, etc.);

  • Expertise in routers, switches, firewalls, IP telephony systems, and transmission equipment;

  • Executing backup, restoration, and continuity procedures;
  • Writing and maintaining technical documents, operational procedures, dashboards, and performance reports;

  • Providing network support, explaining technical issues, and assisting internal teams;
  • Collaborating with IT teams (systems, security, telecom, infrastructure);
  • Effective incident management, precise documentation, and clear decision-making.
