Assembler

Under the supervision of the Group Leader, you will actively participate in the manufacturing of high-tech instruments used in the telecommunications field.

The main tasks are:

• Perform the assembly and sub-assembly of electronic and optical instruments according to established procedures;
• Conduct functional tests at various stages of production to ensure product compliance;
• Proceed with the packaging of components with rigor and precision;
• Perform final quality checks before shipment;
• Collaborate with the production team and other departments to resolve technical issues as needed;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes;
• Perform any other tasks related to the production of EXFO products.
• Technical Skills:
• Basic knowledge of electronic soldering (an asset)

• Meet the requirements related to the transportation of goods, including the Air Cargo Security Program, CTPAT, etc., which requires, among other things, the verification of professional and judicial background in connection with the employment.

*A soldering test will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
