The Ciaq is looking for a Communications, Events and Social Media Advisor to support communication, marketing, and event coordination activities, including content creation and promotional campaign implementation.

More specifically, you will assume the following main responsibilities:

Reporting to the Marketing Coordinator, the Communications, Events and Social Media Advisor is responsible for:

  • Ensuring the visual production of captivating content that reflects our identity and strengthens our presence with our audience on social media (e.g., Facebook/Instagram) or any other communication tool from master templates.
  • Ensuring brand image consistency across all platforms and communication tools to ensure effective information dissemination on various platforms.
  • Coordinating, ensuring the smooth running, and simultaneous implementation of several provincial and regional events organized by the Ciaq, ensuring an experience aligned with our marketing objectives and visual signature.
  • Planning communication strategies that arise from events (before, during, and after) to maximize the visibility and impact of the Ciaq.
  • Producing PowerPoint presentations for various departments.
  • Participating in the selection and ordering of promotional clothing and items for the Ciaq's online store.
  • Ensuring the maintenance and updating of the online store (photos, products, prices, etc.).
  • Ensuring the visual production of the proof sheet and its distribution once approved.
  • Providing administrative support to the sales support team in the realization of ad-hoc mandates and the achievement of departmental objectives.

Requirements

  • College diploma or bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, administration, or related field
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in marketing, communication, or a similar position
  • Proficiency in marketing tools, presentation creation software (PowerPoint) or survey tools (Mailchimp, Canva, InDesign, WordPress)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software
  • Strong interest in artificial intelligence technologies
  • Excellent French language skills, both oral and written
  • Experience in a B2B agricultural environment is an asset
  • Valid driver's license and availability to travel in Quebec
