Who are we? For over 40 years, Mi Integration has distinguished itself as a leader in the development of tailored solutions for the production of plastic parts for the automotive industry. Based in Sherbrooke, our company also has an office in Detroit, as well as two development centers, a R&D center (Mi Lab) and four production sites in Canada and Mexico, employing over 330 people.
*The position is at our Plastech subsidiary at 370 rue Léger in Sherbrooke.*

RESPONSIBILITIES
- As a Process Technician, your tasks will include, among others:
- Conducting mold trials for new products and optimizing process parameters (cycle time, quality, material consumption)
- Installing molds and tooling, making necessary adjustments, and validating tolerances with the quality department
- Providing technical support to production during start-ups and in case of process issues
- Stabilizing, adjusting, and optimizing ongoing processes
- Analyzing technical issues (machine, tooling, material, robot) and proposing sustainable solutions
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and risk analyses in an IATF 16949 certified environment
- Creating and maintaining up-to-date process parameter sheets for each equipment
PROFILE
- Plastic engineering technician and/or any other relevant education/experience
- Good knowledge of scientific molding concepts and 3D drawing software
- French (4/5)
- Good manual dexterity
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
- Adopts a rigorous approach to establish priorities, solve issues, and complete necessary documentation
