Description
The CNC Programming Engineer is responsible for the development, optimization, and validation of CNC programs for the manufacture of high-precision machined parts and complex assemblies. He actively contributes to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
Main Tasks
- Program CNC machines
- Optimize machining processes, analyze performance, and solve technical issues in collaboration with production teams.
- Ensure technical project tracking, propose required adjustments, and support operations during production rollouts.
- Design tooling, fixtures, and clamping devices adapted to the requirements of complex parts.
- Implement and oversee continuous improvement initiatives, including cycle time optimization, non-conformance reduction, and process robustness improvement.

- Technical rigor and keen sense of quality.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize to solve complex problems.
- Adaptability to a dynamic and evolving manufacturing environment.
- Skill to solve problems according to best engineering practices.
- Effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams (methods, production, quality, engineering).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Excellent reading and interpretation of technical drawings.
- Experience in the company's industry sectors (asset).
- Proficiency in Siemens NX software (important asset).
- Good communication in French and English
