ABOUT TERRAPURE
Terrapure Environment is one of the leading providers of recycling solutions that contribute to the circular economy related to batteries and create value for its clients across North America.
At Terrapure, we change the fate of waste. We recognize that both the economy and the environment are equally essential, and we understand that one cannot be prioritized at the expense of the other. Giving absolute priority to excellence in environmental, health, and safety matters, we recycle lead batteries and provide the recovered plastic and lead to the battery manufacturing industry for reuse and the creation of new products, while significantly reducing the volume of waste to be disposed of.
We work in partnership with all major North American battery manufacturers to provide a sustainable closed-loop circular economy solution to locally source used batteries and recover their valuable components for reuse. This includes collecting and processing lead-acid batteries and producing high-quality recycled lead and polypropylene granules for battery manufacturers.
We achieve this by operating two highly modern recycling facilities strategically located near Toronto and Montreal. We also have a logistics center near Buffalo, New York, which facilitates the import and export of products. These locations, along with a vast network of supply chains and business partners, enable us to offer unparalleled service to our battery manufacturer clients across North America.
