• Your daily tasks as a welder with us:

As a welder, you are the artisan who brings metal pieces to life. You operate the laser welder to create flawless assemblies, according to customer requirements. You weld steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, on aesthetic and sophisticated products, requiring a high degree of precision.

More specifically, your tasks are:

Preparation and understanding of the work

• Read and interpret welding plans
• Perform simple calculations necessary for the realization of the pieces

Assembly and welding of the pieces

• Follow the documented steps of realization as best practices
• Perform the assembly of the pieces using laser welding according to the requirements
• Sand the pieces using an orbital sander according to the required finish

Quality control and documentation

• Verify the conformity of the pieces according to established standards
• Document the manufacturing processes according to best practices

Continuous improvement

• Follow-up on training for improvement
• Participate in continuous improvement projects
• Suggest improvements

What we are looking for

• Hold a DEP in welding and assembly
• Very good knowledge of reading plans and welding symbols
• No welding experience is required, as you will mainly work with the laser welder
• Be solution-oriented
• Good manual skills
• Good physical condition
• Be meticulous, precise, and organized
• Be in good physical condition (manual work, repetitive tasks, loads up to 35 pounds)

Salary

• $29.82 to $33.57/hour at hiring based on experience
• Weekend or evening shift premium of $3.31 to $3.73/hour
