Your Role
The successful candidate will be called upon to:
- conduct impartial investigations into allegations of harassment, violence, discrimination, or incivility;
- conduct interviews, analyze evidence, and prepare clear, well-supported reports;
- assess organizational factors that may contribute to tensions or conflicts;
- conduct workplace assessments and formulate recommendations tailored to organizations’ needs;
- advise managers to promote respectful, consistent, and engaging management practices;
- support organizations in preventing workplace issues and restoring a healthy work environment;
- design and deliver training sessions, workshops, and awareness initiatives;
- contribute to the development of the firm’s tools, practices, and services.
Qualifications
- We are seeking an individual who has:
- a university degree in law, human resources, psychology, or a related field;
- experience conducting interviews, analyzing evidence, and drafting complex reports;
- the ability to conduct interviews independently and assess the credibility and reliability of testimony, as well as the probative value of evidence;
- in-depth knowledge of the laws, regulations, and obligations applicable to harassment, violence, discrimination, human rights, and occupational health and safety;
- an excellent understanding of the principles of procedural fairness, confidentiality, impartiality, and natural justice;
- the ability to analyze complex situations, identify relevant facts, and formulate clear, rigorous, and well-supported conclusions;
- superior writing skills and an excellent command of investigative report structure;
- excellent oral and written proficiency in both French and English;
- the ability to independently manage several mandates simultaneously, plan the various stages of an investigation, and meet tight deadlines;
- sound professional judgment and a high degree of rigour, discernment, tact, and discretion.
We are open to considering a variety of profiles based on candidates’ education, experience, transferable skills, and potential. Compensation will be established accordingly, based on the candidate’s profile, experience, and level of autonomy.
Assets
- Membership in the Barreau du Québec or another relevant professional order, or a master’s or doctoral degree in a related field;
- Experience in investigations, workplace assessments, or mediation;
- Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches.

- Permanent, full-time position;
- Annual compensation based on experience, profile, and level of autonomy;

- After three months of in-office work, the possibility of working remotely up to two days a week;
