Your role:
Account Manager responsible for prospecting, soliciting, developing, and maintaining business relationships with a client base primarily composed of medium-sized organizations operating within the commercial market, with the objective of growing the Company.
Your main responsibilities:
Business Development and Visibility
- Act as the primary account manager, serving as the privileged link between the Company and clients.
- Establish and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs to discuss their business particularities, diagnose challenges, provide advice, and, if necessary, prepare an appropriate IQ service offer tailored to their business needs.
- Be responsible for a portfolio of financial interventions and its profitability.
- Ensure the growth and retention of current clients within a portfolio while acquiring new clients and creating a pipeline of business opportunities.
- Be active in the business community, targeting high-value-added activities to promote the Company's visibility and solicit referrals that facilitate the acquisition of new clients.
- Identify the most promising projects and encourage businesses or partners to leverage the Company's services.
- Ensure sound risk management for the entire portfolio under your responsibility.
- Ensure the appropriate use, updating, and satisfaction regarding the products and services offered.
- Analyze sources of dissatisfaction and recommend solutions.
- Stay informed about changes to policies, procedures, and detailed processes, as well as trends in credit and regulatory matters that may impact the Company.
- Recommend strategies or solutions aimed at achieving the Company's objectives, such as increasing business volume, sound risk management, portfolio profitability, and improving business relationships.
- Conduct a watch to identify business development opportunities that support the competitiveness of IQ's products and services.
- Organize various promotional activities in connection with the Company's activities.
- Act as an expert for account directors on financing strategies.
- Support account directors in meetings or negotiations when the complexity of the case and the nature of the financing require it.
- Collaborate with the unit director, professionals, or other managers of the Company, particularly in commercial financing.
Administration and Follow-up
- In collaboration with the technician, maintain business relationships with portfolio clients and collect amounts owed by companies in arrears.
Your specific qualifications required
- Hold a bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or any other relevant discipline.
- Possess a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience as a business financing professional.
- Have knowledge in financial analysis techniques, securities, and common financing standards.
- Master French (spoken and written).
- Mastering English (spoken and written) is an asset.
Your particular work conditions
- Have access to a car and a valid driver's license. The position requires frequent travel to cover the served territory.
