The person holding this position at Desjardins Chomedey supports the general manager and the president of the Board of Directors of a large credit union in various administrative and secretarial support activities. Specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and tracking the general manager's and the president of the Board of Directors' schedule, calls, emails, and mail, according to established priorities. Following general instructions, you will handle certain requests of various natures.
- Reviewing, consolidating, and compiling strategic documents. Establishing priorities and formulating the necessary recommendations for the delivery of these documents.
- Coordinating the delivery of various files to the management committee, the Board of Directors, the Board of Supervision and Ethics, or any other committee.
- Preparing and assisting at various meetings, including those of the management committee and the Board of Directors. Writing minutes, reports, and ensuring follow-ups.
- Participating in the logistical organization of various events (e.g., committees, annual general meeting, public relations activities, employee activities, recognition evenings).
- Managing the training of directors.
- Providing administrative support for certain internal communication activities at the Credit Union (e.g., employee meetings, annual general meeting, special assembly) and in associative life activities.
- Performing various administrative tasks related to internal management (e.g., sales tracking, dashboard, expense account tracking, inventory and equipment management, performance evaluations).
- Managing documentation and updating files related to the general management (e.g., filing, purging, conservation, and tracking of strategic files), according to established practices and rules.
- Performing various secretarial activities, including writing, layout, updating, production, and linguistic revision of information documents for the general manager.
- Providing support to the general manager and the president of the Board of Directors in information research, operational processes, and information systems.
- Identifying risk situations and notifying the General Manager and the reference person at the Federation.

What you will bring to the table
- Professional studies diploma (DEP) in an appropriate discipline
- At least four years of relevant experience
- Please note that other combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
- Knowledge of French orthography and grammar
- Knowledge of the philosophy and operation of a financial services cooperative
- Knowledge of service standards
