Our *Valleyfield Salaberry plant* manufactures extruded polystyrene rigid insulation panels and our team consists of 65 employees in a unionized environment. The work environment is focused on a *semi-autonomous team philosophy* based on teamwork and mutual aid.

As part of the semi-autonomous maintenance team led by the maintenance director, the Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and proper functioning of the plant's equipment, prioritizing *health and safety* and that of their colleagues.

Main Responsibilities: Mechanical tasks (70%) - Electrical tasks (20%) - Continuous improvement (10%)

• Perform troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance of equipment in the plant.
• + Replace or repair mechanical parts
• + Logical system pneumatic analysis
• + Piping (gas, water, air)
• + Reading plans
• Use various machine tools to complete mechanical work.
• Overhaul gearboxes, motors, and pumps.
• Perform troubleshooting and electrical maintenance of equipment in the plant.
• + Automated systems analysis
• + Program interpretation
• + Understanding of electropneumatic circuits
• + Test, repair, or replace wiring
• + Reading plans
• Participate in improvement projects (manufacturing, TPM, machine safety, etc.)
• Optimize and write detailed technical maintenance methods and procedures.
• Enter information into the GMAO (SAP) maintenance system.
• Research technical information.
• Modify and create drawings with Autocad software.
• Working Conditions:
• *Day shift* (3 weeks out of 4) from 7:00
• AM to 3:30
• PM

• Thursday and 7:00
• AM to 3:00 PM on Fridays (42 hours/week)
• *Evening shift* (1 week out of 4) from 3:00
• PM to 11:30
• PM
• Monday to
• Thursday and 2:30
• PM to 10:30 PM on Fridays (42 hours/week)
• Night call and weekend work only during the evening week (1 week out of 4)
• *Overtime* occasional and mandatory during shutdown (approximately 2 times a year)
• Work standing, on knees, and at heights (e.g., scaffolding)

Education, Experience & Certification

• Hold a DEP in electromechanical or a DEC in mechanics, or technology in industrial maintenance, or any other relevant training.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment with experience in mechanics and electricity.
• Restricted Certificate in Apparatus Connection (CRCA)
• Experience in machining and welding (MIG, TIG, and ARC)
• Class C license (an asset) / apprentice process internally
• Pass mechanical aptitude, electrical troubleshooting, general skills, and software usage tests such as Word and Excel.
• Knowledge:
• Proficiency in French and functional English.
• MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Knowledge of Autocad (an asset)
• SAP (an asset)
• TPM (an asset)
