Electromechanical Technician – Night Shift

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the person sought collaborates on all activities of prevention, improvement, and repair of the plant, with the aim of optimizing operations.

Key activities

• Perform mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment;
• Participate in preventive maintenance tasks of equipment (cleaning, inspection, lubrication, etc.);
• Document maintenance activities, communicate them with employees (electromechanical technicians, operators, engineers, supervisors, etc.), and use the inventory and maintenance system;
• Ensure the cleanliness and safety of work areas;
• Support daily production by ensuring continuous operation of equipment (problem identification, repair of breakdowns, operator training);

Required education and experience

• DEP in industrial mechanics or electromechanical;
• Knowledge of mechanics, electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation;
• Knowledge of the GMAO Intéral system (an asset);
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role.

• Proficiency in French (oral and written);
• Entrepreneurial spirit focused on initiative and innovation;
• Positive attitude and ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic environment;
• Strong proficiency with computer and technological tools.
