Our Airbus Atlantic site based in Mirabel is looking for its future Project Supervisor. In your main task, you will be in contact with the different sectors of the company to ensure the proper follow-up of all the company's projects.

As Project Supervisor of the Projects team, you will be responsible for a team of project managers who will report directly to you. In your functions, your main task will be to ensure the proper follow-up of projects, from definition to acquisition. Your daily work must be done in compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Incoming and Outgoing of the Projects Department
  • Plan and prioritize employee workload
  • Master and enforce department procedures
  • Ensure delivery of various deliverables, while respecting cost, quality, and time objectives.
  • Implement, maintain, track, and communicate indicators that demonstrate team performance (e.g., OTD, EVM, FTR).
  • Ensure that the technical scope is respected according to customer requirements and the needs of the program, manufacturing, and industrialization.
  • Support your team as needed on technical issues and decision-making.
  • Foster employee development and conduct individual meetings with them.
  • Organize and maintain good cohesion within the group.
  • Prepare and present projects for validation with different functions.
  • Lead meetings and keep the various tracking files up to date.
  • Prepare and present progress status to different management levels.
  • Ensure compliance with department budgets.
  • Develop risk management plans including mitigation plans.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of our project management processes.

PROFILE REQUIRED

  • Academic Background:
  • You have a college (technical) or university degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, or any other relevant degree
  • PMP certification

Experience

  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in management (management)
  • Experience in the aerospace sector (an asset) and in support of production in medium series
  • Special Requirements:
  • Knowledge of assembly processes (key characteristics of a simple or complex assembly tool, capability analysis tool...)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Ability to manage a budget, forecast, and anticipate fluctuations
  • Ability to use and interpret aeronautical standards (an asset)
  • Mastery of tolerancing and measurement chain principles (an asset)
  • Knowledge of basic parts would be a plus
  • Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office,
